Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in 1986. Her nationality is Canadian but she is based in Hollywood. Her most prominent role was as Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, the series that began in 2014 before ending in the year 2020. Her performance received high praise from critics and received with the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was in Ontario, a province in Canada. Her parents worked together as instructors. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she began performing on stage. Then she enrolled in Concordia University from where she obtained a degree in theater performance. To learn how to act the art of acting, she took classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. When she was 22, she relocated her family to Los Angeles where acting became her occupation. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. Her acting career continued as she played minor, supplementary parts in a variety of movies.
