Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows cast on grass. After a few weeks she came up with a technique which did not make the subject onto canvas in an unflat image. The object has been transformed into it's own representation which is based an interpretation by the artist. This works best when working with living things as well as items that have a shelf life such as fruits or people. The transient nature of her painting style is evident and what survives of Alexa Meade's work is the photographs. Trompe l'oeil can be achieved by combining the two techniques of painting and photographing. This creates a flattened, two dimensional photograph. Meade will sometimes integrate her painted model into the three-dimensional surroundings around it, which allows for them to interact within the context of their own. In this way, she blurs the lines between painting, photography, performance and installation.
